Our team

Vitality begins with attention

At Medisch Consult, vitality is central — it is one of our most important core values. We believe that sustainable employability begins with personal attention. That is why we maintain close contact with both your organization and your employees, so we can truly respond to what is needed.

Our close-knit team consists of experienced professionals with a shared passion for health, development, and resilience. Each of us is dedicated daily to strengthening the vitality of our clients — with knowledge, commitment, and a genuine interest in the person behind the work.

Together, we ensure a healthy foundation, so that both people and organizations can continue to grow.

Marc Pennartz

Medical Director and Occupational Physician

I started my career as a physician in 1988, but I was soon drawn to the broader question: how do people remain healthy, motivated, and balanced at work? As the director of Medisch Consult, I pioneered the first privatized occupational health service in the Netherlands in 1991.

Since then, I have combined my expertise in mental health and vitality with years of experience as an organizational consultant and coach. I guide executives and professionals in their leadership, personal growth, and sustainable employability.

I am a family man, an enthusiastic drummer, enjoy hiking in the mountains, and am a nature lover.

Albert Hietink

Managing Director

I am an entrepreneur and director with a broad career in media, ICT, and healthcare. I have spent many years leading professionals and therefore have a good understanding of the worlds of lawyers, medical specialists, and bankers, among others. From 2011 to 2017, I was the CEO of U-center, an innovative mental healthcare clinic under private equity ownership.

What characterizes me is my connecting style of leadership. I believe in collaboration, bring out the best in people, and enjoy building sustainable relationships. As the Managing Director of MC, I am the point of contact for key accounts and work with the team on valuable solutions for (international) clients. With my international background and strong people skills, I know how to deepen partnerships and take our services a step further every time.

Roy Langedijk

Reintegration Specialist

As a reintegration specialist, I work under the delegated authority of the occupational physician and support managers, employees, and HR in preventing and managing absenteeism. Additionally, I provide training and workshops on absenteeism management and burnout prevention. My approach is empathetic and activating.

I live in Amsterdam with my partner, our two daughters, and two cats.

Boudewijn op 't Hoog

Occupational Physician

As a former general practitioner, I am familiar with the clinical side of the ill employee. In 2019, I transitioned to the field of occupational medicine, where I can have more depth in my contact with employees. I find not only the guidance back to work but specifically the prevention of illness to be a very rewarding part of my profession! I have been a graduate of Medisch Consult since early 2023.

I live in the Vechtstreek region with my wife, son, young daughter, and a cat. In my spare time, I enjoy sports, with running and cycling being my favorites, although not much free time remains with our young family and work.

Meike Westra

Reintegration Specialist & Coach

I have been working at Medisch Consult since 2019 in the role of Reintegration Specialist and Coach. People and employers have been a common thread throughout my career. I am particularly interested in exploring whether people know what their true needs are and how they can reconnect with their feelings.

I conduct conversations based on trust and try to look at various perspectives, such as the relationship with the employer, the current position, an individual’s own systems and old habits, and how someone can move forward again. As a Reintegration Specialist, I hold these conversations every 4 weeks with an absent employee, and as a coach, I speak with employees once every 2 weeks for 1.5 hours.

Gina Rademaker

Finance & Operations Manager

As Operational Finance Manager, I ensure efficient financial and operational business management. With experience in finance, contract management, quality management, process optimization, and project management, I monitor financial health and continuously look for ways to take our services to a higher level.

Nicoline Hetem-Alberts

Reintegration Specialist & Quality Manager

My name is Nicoline Hetem – Alberts and I live in Haarlem. In my younger years, I practiced judo at a high level and I still enjoy being active. I graduated as an occupational therapist. Since February 1, 2024, I have been working for Medisch Consult as a reintegration specialist. What I really enjoy about this is combining my occupational therapy knowledge and insights with my experience in sports and nutrition, which can contribute to recovery and improve the body’s restorative capacity under stress.

I have been working at Medisch Consult for over 20 years as a Recovery Consultant under the delegated authority of the occupational physician. After work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, our two children, and our labradoodle – a perfect work-life balance.

Nizette Bazen

Occupational Physician

Driven by an ever-present curiosity about people, I studied both psychology and medicine. Soon after graduating, I entered social medicine because the holistic view of the human being is most fully realized there for me.

I have been working with great pleasure as a physician in occupational medicine since 2017, and I have been strengthening the team at Medisch Consult since November 2025. This work gives me great satisfaction because it looks at the person as a whole, and it is always a puzzle how physical, psychological, social, and cultural factors influence well-being, health, and sustainable employability.

The core values from which I approach every employee and employer are equality, openness, transparency, and respect.

I recently started at Medisch Consult with great enthusiasm. I have always wanted to work in social medicine because I like to focus on primary and secondary prevention. What appeals to me is that I can play a role within a team in helping to restore and promote the health of employees and the companies where they work.

Furthermore, I enjoy contributing to a pleasant and warm mutual working atmosphere, where we support each other to do our work well and with pleasure.
